I'm pretty confident that the new "fairness" beast camping out on the front page won't be here for long. It's already created a lot of bullshit, art theft, and miscategorization. So before anyone decides to throw a hissy and threaten to leave dA forever, I'm just saying you should sit tight.

DA decided to make the front page "fair", by featuring popular work in unpopular categories. So if you draw an anime picture, you might need two thousand favorites to make it. But if you submit something in vectors->tiny people->text people->Inverted nipples, you only need about 100 favorites to make it up top. So shitloads of people are putting their art in random categories, and less popular artists in big categories get the shaft.
